Mr Pozo qualified as a Podiatrist with the Institute of Chiropodists and Podiatrists (Sheffield) in 2002. He initially worked at the Well Foot Clinic until December 2009, when he then joined Specialist Medical Clinic.
Mr Pozo added to his training in January 2007, when he qualified in the use of local anaesthetics and Nail Surgery with the Glasgow Caledonian University (Glasgow). This allows for the surgical treatment of ingrowing toenails and other nail conditions. Further specialist training in practical biomechanics and gait analysis in October 2007 (Dublin), enables Mr Pozo to prescribe treatment according to the results and measurements taken from a biomechanical assessment.
Mr Pozo is trained to deal with all aspects of foot health care including foot and heel pain and conditions affecting children, as well as pain management, prolotherapy and corticosteroid therapy.
Mr Pozo has a special interest in diabetes and related conditions affecting the lower limbs.
